Just as she had began to get her bearings about the many halls and walkways of Hampton Court, she found herself informed that another move was to ensue. Once again within the time line of but a few months, she found herself packing her belongings and to be sent to yet another unfamiliar place to which she'd be calling home.
Having met but a few, and those she had were set to positions where their time was in great demand. This left her to her own accord of making arrangements to have her things collected and traveling alone to this place called Buckingham.
It was much larger than the area from which she now recently moved, and this only posed for more nights and days of adventure as she traveled the many halls. Though one area in particular would be that which she sought, the area where the knights would spend their days training.
She had yet to request an audience with the King to seek position to participate in the drills that took place within the arena, knowing that this was not the right time in which to intrude upon the man to seek such a favor.
Instead, she'd simply watch the clashing of steel, the use of strength and skill. In this, she found she learned as much as when a sword rested within the firm grip of her own hand. Watching styles, how physical contact was incorporated with that of blades.
This would be her moments of activities in between her days of exploration. A missive having been sent to her father to inform him of her relocation from where she had first been sent. At least one letter had arrived written in her father's hand before she had to leave, letting her know that by the coming spring he would be returning to Arundel and hoped to be reunited with his daugher.
For now, she was simply a good will ambassidor between the land of her birth and that to which her father pledged his alleganace and offered the loyalty of his sword.
