After the pain staking weeks on sea the crew had finally arrived. Many nights had gone by where they had sat by candle light, plotting their little escapade, and now it was time to let it play out. They had cleverly disguised the moderate sized ship given to them for this mission, it seemed to fool many on it's way. A merchant vessel, was what it was dolled up to be. With many barrels of fruits, pickles, and crates of wine. Of course they hadn't really taken the time to stock on such items. The barrels were mostly stuffed with cloth, only a few real fruits lay ontop to cover up the bulk of the contents. and the crates of wine were nothing more than empty bottles, thrown out by local taverns. Ana, Geddoe, Zach and Salem had finally arrived on English soil. With the orders of Geddoe, Zach was told to stay behind on the ship to watch and persaude the patrons that inhabited the dock, that their reasons for being there were legitimate. It was down to three, now and they made no hesitation to delay their plans. With a cart already purchased they headed down the dusted road towards the Castle gates. Ana and Salem were in the back of the food wagon, hidden by it's tarp covering. Salem had spent most of the evening before, cooking the meals for the gaurds that stood watch. They had but mere minuets to apply the tasteless poison to the many bowls of rabbit stew, and to line the wine goblets with the same. Eager were the men when they saw the wagon approaching, it was a daily thing, that a cart came by to drop of the meals the local tavern had prepared. It wasn't anything out of the norm and the bringers of the food changed with the everyday schedual of the Tavern's hours. Geddoe pulled on the reigns of the musty old mule, causing the cart to come to a stop. Ana jumped out of the wagon in her bar wench attire and began to distribute the bowls and wine. The man happily ate without knowing the consiquences of their actions. It was a fast acting poison, once ingested it took but 10 minuets to sink into the veins. That time was passed by conversation between suppler and consumer. Salem had peeked his head out once he heard the sound of bodys dropping to the ground like flys. With each post abandoned to recieve their evening meals, the ladder was let down to the tower which heild the crank for the gate. Ana, nimbly climbed up the wooden support and turned the handle. The door came down with ease. She gave the signal for them to proceed, staying behind to watch out for any newcomers, and taking care of them if it came to that.
::Geddoe had been speaking with one of the guards as the poison started to take it's effect. He grinned slightly as they dropped like flys. He looked out toward the back of the wagon, and waved Salem over. Once he was next to Geddoe he spoke:: Salem...find yaself a body that's 'bout the same as yers...get his uniform. We're gonna need it. ::After his orders were given, he himself started ona search for the perfect size::
:Yes, cause that was easy! Everyone in the world was Salem's size! Salem shook his head, brushing the raven curls from view. He kicked one of the fallen men that seemed to match his figure, must've been malnurished. That was the only thought that came into his mind as he slipped off the armor and placed it on his own body. His nose wrinkled at the scent, mm nothing like that smelly man scent in the evening. Salem wanted to gag as the sweat from the previous owner remained on the inside.: " Mon Dieu..." :He eyed Geddoe and shook his head.: " readah when ye are Mon ami..."
::As Salem had been searching, so had Geddoe. He was a little harder to find a size for. It took him a little long to find the size, but when he did, he grinned widely and undressed the man quickly. His usual clothes were placed in the back of the wagon. He was going to slip into them as soon as possible. He looked up and gave Ana the thumbs up and continued into the tower through the gates, Salem at his side::
:Salem just let the armor fall upon the clothes he already wore, he didn't find it sanitary to completly change outfits with the unbathed gaurd. In a low crouch Salem followed Geddoe's lead. At the base of the tall tower were two guards. What they lacked in brains, they definatly made up in muscle. They were conversing to eachother in low tones as they faced outwards. Salem nudged Geddoe slightly and canted his head. Salem's accent was a sure give away, so instead he shoved Geddoe forwards to speak. The plan they had made on the ship was to tell the gaurds that they were their replacements and it wouldn't be out of the norm, just like meals at this time, posts were switched so one set could take a break.:
::The torches on either side of the base of the tower covered Salem's diffrent close under the armor. Geddoe gave the two guards a slightly and nodded his head toward Salem:: 'ey...wer her ta take ova fo teh nigh...ya too git yer brea' no..::The two guards shrugged and started walking the back way to the tavern. Though, they did stop next to the two of them, then shrugged slightly. It was late...and they were not getting paid a good amount of money. Geddoe and Salem waited at the post for a few minutes until they were fully ut of eye sight. Geddoe turned to Salem and smiled:: So far, so good..
" Mon dieu, I am gettin' dizzah from Moi's own fumes..." :He shuddered, causing the armor to clank. He looked up to Geddoe and nodded.: " Oui... zere are two more gaurds up der...we can non say dat we 'ere to take ovah, cause when dey be commin' down, dey'll be seein' no one 'er, ge' suspicious. Oui? I dun t'ink we nee' teh use ze blades jus' ye'...too muc' noise, an' messah. We use dees...: Salem wiggled abit until two vibrant sashes fell to the ground. He had hidden them in his armor. The slits at the sides where his arms were allowed to enter was the point of exit.:
