Jade, I'm in hopes this finds you well and all is good. You have been missed. Our devoted Inn-keeper, Alex, lost his battle on life, and his spirit has been set free in the ways of my people. I have hired a new man by the name of Radulfr. He was a friend to Alex and has offered to take his place. On a brighter note, I thought I'd let you know. I have returned to Port of Kiel and intend on remaining, but I'm not alone. There is one who wishes to wed me, and I have told him we are to await you to be there. I think you'll come to like him as much as I love him. I hope to hear from you soon, for I know not how long we'll await. Yours Kat
P.S. As ironic as it may seem, the man who asked me to marry him, his name is Alexander. Perhaps a sign of fate?

Ekaterina,
Sorry I have not been around, things grew hectic, then quiet and all I wished to do was spend time alone and away. Collect my thoughts perhaps. I am glad to hear you are doing well, and a new man to add into the mix sounds exciting. I will come find you soon enough and I appreciate you waiting for me. But, it is your life, if you wish it, you should do it. I would like to meet the man of course, when I can. I hope all stays going well. I miss you as well. Sincerely yours, Jade

She was surprised when the Shadow Hound found her as she fed the wolves out behind the Inn. The wolves cared not for the visitor, but ate their meal in a leery state instead of an instant attack. The missive removed from the familiar and read over. A glance to the Shadow Hound. "Wait here, I have a response for you to return with." Unsure if the beast would wait, but somehow she sensed it understood her words clear enough. The rest of the meat tossed to the wolves and into the Inn she'd return, seeking out pen and parchment to write a letter in return. Jade, I have done many things in my life alone, and in convenience to myself only. Alexander understands it means much to have you at my side on that day, you are the only family I have; even if we are not of blood. I chose to await the day when you're able to attend, and not before. I understand how chaotic your life tends to be at times, just as you have the same understanding of my own. So I am in hopes this letter finds you well, and understand that I'll not move forth until you are here. Stay safe my Sister in Chaos, until the day comes that you arrive. Yours Ekaterina She'd seal the parchment with her Port of Kiel crest, that which was now hers with the title she bore and position that life had left her in. Returning outside to see the wolves had gone, but the hound remained. The missive attached to where hers had been, and the Shadow Hound would soon leave on its journey home.

The Hound never had issues with other animals personally, but animals tended not to enjoy its presence, mainly on the grounds that it was an unnatural creation. It gave a curt nod to show it understood well enough. Then received the missive easily and left casually. Returning it to Jade via shadow portal, as the Celestial wasn't in RhyDin, but her homelands of Frumos Adapost. Reading it, she believed what was said was said and done and she'd make a harder effort to be around for her sister. The Hound enjoyed being around Jade more so, though missed his old task of tending to a youth named Nick.
